Pan-Continental Global Ground: Our Americas
Rebalancing prosperity through equity, cooperation, and shared governance
Care to Change the World
Introduction
The Americas are a continent of paradoxes. Home to some of the world’s most advanced economies and some of its most unequal societies, the region is shaped by a legacy of colonization, extractive development, and political instability. Yet it is also a region of resistance, innovation, and social movements that have redefined what justice and democracy can mean.
PCGG enters the Americas not as a foreign model, but as a framework for rebalancing power, restoring trust, and rebuilding systems from the ground up. It offers a path forward for countries seeking to move beyond polarization, beyond dependency, and beyond the limits of traditional governance.
About PCGG Americas
PCGG Americas is built on the same five institutional components—CSIEP Americas, CUWE Americas, CEIU Americas, LEU Americas, and INWE Americas—but adapted to the region’s unique political, cultural, and economic dynamics.
- CSIEP Americas will support political platforms that prioritize impact over ideology, particularly in countries where democratic fatigue and populism have eroded public trust.
- CUWE Americas and CEIU Americas will create new spaces for structured dialogue between labor and business, replacing confrontation with co-creation.
- LEU Americas will anchor implementation in local communities, from indigenous territories to urban peripheries, ensuring that development is participatory and place-based.
- INWE Americas will modernize education and employment systems, integrating cooperative values, digital skills, and lifelong learning into national strategies.
These institutions will be supported by the Agenda 74 Agency, in partnership with GSIA, EUSL, and regional bodies such as CELAC, CARICOM, and MERCOSUR.
Mission:
To implement the PCGG framework across the Americas in a way that addresses historical injustice, promotes inclusive governance, and builds resilient, cooperative economies.
Vision:
A continent where democracy is deepened through participation, where economies are restructured around equity and sustainability, and where communities are empowered to shape their futures through shared governance and mutual accountability.
Strategic Goals
PCGG Americas aims to catalyze a continental shift toward cooperative governance and inclusive development. Its goals include:
- Launching pilot programs in countries with strong civil society networks and reform-oriented leadership.
- Supporting indigenous and Afro-descendant communities in building autonomous, cooperative institutions.
- Promoting cross-border collaboration in areas such as migration, climate resilience, and ethical trade.
- Aligning all activities with Agenda for Social Equity 2074, national development plans, and regional integration frameworks.
Expected Impact
The impact of PCGG Americas will be both structural and symbolic. Structurally, it will introduce new institutions that embed equity, cooperation, and accountability into the governance and economic systems of the region. Symbolically, it will offer a new narrative—one that moves beyond dependency, beyond division, and toward dignity.
Democratic Renewal and Depolarization
In a region marked by political polarization and democratic backsliding, CSIEP Americas will offer a new political logic. It will prioritize outcomes over ideologies, participation over partisanship, and legitimacy through impact. This will re-engage disillusioned citizens and restore faith in democratic institutions.
Economic Justice and Cooperative Development
CUWE and CEIU will transform labor relations and business practices. In countries with high informality and labor exploitation, CUWE will provide protection, structure, and cooperative alternatives. CEIU will support ethical entrepreneurship and inclusive business models. Together, they will build economies that serve people—not the other way around.
Territorial Equity and Local Empowerment
LEU Americas will bring governance closer to the people. From indigenous territories in the Andes to favelas in Brazil and rural communities in Central America, LEU will enable local actors to co-govern, co-invest, and co-create public value. This will reduce spatial inequality and restore agency to historically excluded populations.
Education for Liberation and Innovation
INWE Americas will reimagine education as a tool for liberation, not just employment. It will integrate cooperative values, digital skills, and civic education into curricula, preparing youth to lead in a new economy. In post-conflict and marginalized areas, INWE will also serve as a platform for healing, reintegration, and intergenerational dialogue.
Regional Solidarity and South-South Leadership
PCGG Americas will strengthen regional cooperation through shared institutions, ethical trade, and cross-border programs. It will position the Americas as a leader in South-South collaboration, offering models of development rooted in equity, sustainability, and mutual respect.
A New Continental Narrative
Above all, PCGG Americas will contribute to a new story for the continent. A story where justice is not a slogan, but a structure. Where development is not imposed, but co-created. And where the future is not inherited from the past, but built—together, cooperatively, and with purpose.
